Covenant University has informed us that degree certificates for anyone who graduated between 2006-2023 must be picked up latest the 31st of January 2025, otherwise, a late pickup penalty of N10,000/year applies from 2025.
Documents you need if collecting by yourself
- Provision of original identification card from Covenant University. If missing, then a sworn affidavit from a Court and a Police report (both documents must be from the same state)
- Provision of original notification of results (ONR). If missing, then a sworn affidavit from a Court and a Police report (both documents must be from the same state). Photocopy of the notification of result is to be provided.
- Alumni clearance form, from the alumni office in Covenant University, located in the Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID) building, 3rd floor.
Documents you need if your Father/Mother/Sibling is collecting on your behalf
- Provision of original identification card from Covenant University. If missing, then a sworn affidavit from a Court and a Police report (both documents must be from the same state)
- Provision of original notification of results (ONR). If missing, then a sworn affidavit from a Court and a Police report (both documents must be from the same state). Photocopy of the notification of result is to be provided.
- The parent/sibling standing in as proxy is to provide valid evidence that he/she is the parent/sibling of the graduate
- Photocopy of graduate and proxy’s valid ID Proxy to present a Court Affidavit indemnifying Covenant University on any incurred issue on the certificate collected
- Alumni clearance form, from the alumni office in Covenant University, located in the Centre for Research, Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID) building, 3rd floor.
Note – Covenant University has not provided us with any updates regarding Eagles who are based abroad / outside Lagos. We also do not have any updates yet regarding courier of certificates.
