The Role
We are seeking a Brand & Partnerships Associate who will be the bridge between TQR and the world, cultivating meaningful collaborations, securing brand sponsorships, amplifying media visibility, and curating partnerships that elevate the TQR ethos.
This role requires a mix of relationship-building, strategic thinking, and execution skills to ensure TQR is consistently positioned as Lagos’ most sought-after rooftop experience.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Growth
● Develop and execute TQR’s brand positioning across media, partnerships, and activations.
● Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms.
Partnership Development
● Identify, pitch, and secure strategic partnerships with brands, media houses, agencies, and sponsors.
● Negotiate and manage partnership agreements that drive revenue and visibility.
● Manage contracts in collaboration with AMDL’s legal/finance teams.
Media & PR Engagement
● Cultivate strong relationships with press, editors, and cultural platforms (i.e. lifestyle, beauty, hospitality, wellness, etc.).
● Oversee media features, advertorials, and editorial collaborations to raise brand visibility.
Event Support & Activation
● Work closely with the project manager, event coordinator, and social media manager to secure sponsorships, brand activations, and premium experiences for events.
● Ensure brand partners are integrated seamlessly into event storytelling.
● Provide onsite partnership management during key events.
Financial Oversight & KPIs
● Co-manage budgets for partnerships and activations to ensure ROI.
● Track performance of partnerships against agreed KPIs and present reports to management.
Digital Fluency
● Use CRM, analytics tools, and digital platforms to track partner engagement and campaign performance.
● Collaborate with the SMM team to align digital campaigns with offline activations.
Qualifications
● 3–5 years’ experience in brand management, partnerships, marketing, or communications.
● Strong network in Lagos across media, lifestyle brands, and corporate sectors.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
● Creative thinker with a proven ability to turn ideas into execution.
● Experience in event marketing or luxury lifestyle branding is a plus.
● Proficiency with CRM, analytics, and project management tools.
