Research and Strategy Analyst

Job Overview

We seek a highly motivated and analytical Research and Strategy Analyst to support delivering exceptional research, insights, and project execution across various impact-focused initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  1. Research and Analysis
  • Design, plan, and conduct primary and secondary research to generate high-quality
    insights.
  • Collect and analyze data using qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
  • Identify key trends, make inferences, and develop actionable recommendations.

2. Project Support and Coordination

  • Assist with tracking, prioritizing, and organizing tasks across multiple projects.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project milestones and outputs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project goals forward.

3. Communication and Presentation

  • Develop clear, visually appealing, and professional PowerPoint presentations for
    internal and external audiences.
  • Synthesize complex ideas into concise, compelling narratives.
  • Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and other written communication
    materials.

4. Technology and Innovation

  • Leverage AI tools and other digital resources to enhance efficiency in research, data
    analysis, and presentation development.
  • Explore and recommend new tools or processes to improve workflows.

5. General Support

  • Provide administrative and organizational support, ensuring seamless operations
    across projects.
  • Monitor deadlines and assist in task management to ensure accountability and
    progress.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Research Methods, or related disciplines).
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in research, consulting, strategy, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    o Strong research and analytical skills.
    o Proficiency in PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
    o Familiarity with AI tools for research and efficiency.
    o Basic Excel or Google Sheets knowledge for data analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
    o Strong command of the English language (verbal and written).
    o Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration and stakeholder management.
    o Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
    o Self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellent work.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of impact investing, workforce development, or related fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, ChatGPT, or any advanced strategic analysis tools
    is an advantage.

Other Information

  • Location: Hybrid with presence in an office in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
  • Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
  • Hours: 9 am – 5 pm, but may require occasional evening/weekend availability to meet deadlines.
