Woven Market Africa, a sustainable, eco-conscious handwoven textile brand, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by managing client accounts and engaging directly with customers across wholesale and retail channels. This role blends strategic sales leadership, account management, and relationship building, ensuring the brand achieves its sales targets, expands its market presence, and delivers exceptional end-to-end customer experiences from order to delivery.
You will manage the full customer sales journey, from taking orders to coordinating delivery, while nurturing client relationships. You’ll also develop sales strategies, track performance, and collaborate with marketing to translate trends and insights into actionable campaigns and keep clients on retainers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales Management: Take and process orders, manage client accounts from request to delivery, and ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies, set targets, and identify opportunities across wholesale, retail, and key accounts.
Client & Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Performance Tracking & Analysis: Monitor sales metrics, analyse performance data, and refine strategies to drive growth.
Operations Oversight: Manage inventory, logistics, and order fulfilment processes to ensure timely product delivery.
Market Awareness & Trend Analysis: Stay informed on fashion trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt sales tactics.
Marketing & Promotion Collaboration: Partner with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and visual merchandising to maximise impact.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fashion sales, including client-facing roles, order management, and team leadership.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office(Excel).
Proven ability to manage the complete customer sales process from order to delivery.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Deep understanding of fashion trends, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour.
Business acumen, confidence, and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organisational, planning, and project management skills.
Proficiency with sales management tools, CRM platforms, and basic reporting/analytics.
