Essien is a seasoned operations manager with a decade of experience in enhancing logistics, procurement, and supply chain operations through innovative technology. His expertise lies in driving process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing partnerships to foster business growth and customer satisfaction.
As co-founder & COO at Messenger, he led a 200-member team to improve delivery efficiency with technology at its core and fulfill over 400,000 delivery trips in 2023 alone. Serving as the President of the Association of Abuja Logistics Providers (AALO), he continues to influence the policies in the logistics sector positively. Essien has also contributed to community development through Jessi & Reuben foundation that gives access to free medical tests in rural areas and plays a vital role in organising Akwa Ibom Tech Week that brings innovation to Akwa Ibom State.
