Irene Ubani @ubani.irene graduated with a degree in Information and Communication Engineering from @covenantuniversityota (2016 eagle, Prestige set). Within such a short period, she has grown exceptionally to become a Communications Consultant, Public Speaking Coach and an International Journalist. An alumni of Harvard Business School Online, she was recently approved as one of Nigeria’s very few instructors on the International e-Learning platform Udemy. She is not only an acclaimed writer and journalist, but a contributor at the World Economic Forum press briefing on COVID-19. Irene Ubani's motivation is to be a voice for those who have none due to undemocratized opportunities. She is very passionate about social development and was honored by the Governor of Lagos State for her participation during the concluded “Food For Thought” initiative. She also has a course on Udemy titled 'Speak like a Pro' which is very ffective for learning and improvement of public speaking and communication skills. This is a few amongst many achievements from her and we celebrate her for the impact and value she is adding to her world. The Covenant University Alumni Association applauds you, Irene Ubani. Meet Olufemi Badejo @theaffluenttraveller . He graduated from The Prestigious Covenant University (2006 eagle, Pioneer set), with a degree in psychology. He founded Cersei Partners, an organization that facilitates dual citizenship and passports acquisition for High Networth Individuals globally with offices in Lagos, London, South Africa and Vanuatu. This is the fastest growing citizenship by investment firm globally which is owned by an African especially of Nigerian descent. Olufemi's motivation is to always be better than his previous achievements. This mantra is apparent in his career as he was recently appointed by the Republic of Vanuatu as the Honorable Trade and Investment Commissioner to South Africa. He is primarily responsible for all bilateral relationship inclusive of trade and investment opportunities in both countries. Who is David Rotimi? An entrepreneur? A business owner? A motivator? You're right. But, more than that he's creative. He runs an online store called Flevor.co @flevorco which curates business cards where people can customize their order and receive them within 24 hours. David Rotimi graduated from Covenant University in the year 2014 with a degree in architecture, and has made it a goal to constantly help people communicate better by being more expressive.⠀ ⠀ Since it's inception, @flevorco has grown not just in size, but in outreach, as they produce up to 100-200 orders per month within Lagos and Abuja. The company is actively attaining better visibility and seeking for more opportunities for business collaborations. They are indeed very successful. ⠀ ⠀ Big ups to David Rotimi. Did you know that there is a platform that promotes STEM education for girls and young women? This NGO provides a vast range of opportunities such as summer camps, mentorship programs, completions, etc for students. It's name is 'Afro-tech girls' @afrotechgirls and it was co-founded by our very own Adeola Shasanya @missshasanya who is a graduate of Covenant university, Class of 2012. After her B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, she acquired a post graduate degree from the university of Manchester. Her personal experience during her studies was what motivated her to start 'Afro-tech girls' which has since its inception, reached out to over 600 girls, aiding their passions and assuring a fulfilling future in STEM for them. She also works as a project manager; digital skills for Africa, supporting education and online safety for students, parents and teachers all over Africa. She is truly a heroine in whom we are proud.
